The Last Chance Tennis Association was incorporated in 1981 with the purchase of two forced air inflated and heated “Bubbles” from Meadowlark Country Club under the leadership of Ed Jasmin and Jack Buckley. The “Bubbles” were erected over two courts at the Helena Civic Center where they kept netters busy until the LCTA built a permanent structure with two indoor courts at the present day Costco location. In 2007, with the help of the Helena Airport Authority, the facility was moved east near the airport and a third indoor court was added.
